Joint Seat Allocation Authority has published the JoSSA 2023 seat allotment result round 6 on July 26, 2023. The link to check the JoSAA seat allotment has been updated online at www.josaa.nic.in Candidates have to prove the application number and password to check the JoSAA 2023 seat allotment results. The authority published the JoSAA 2023 seat allotment result round 5 on July 21. The authority has released the JoSAA cutoff at the official website. The authority closed the JoSAA registration and choice filling 2023 process on June 28. Candidates could register themselves and lock their choices on the official website. The authority released the JoSAA special eligibility/restriction for the NIT+system online. JoSAA 2023 dates are available online

Candidates who wish to participate in the JoSAA counselling process need to qualify the JEE Main or JEE Advanced. The authorities has released round-wise JoSAA seat allotment result 2023 online. Moreover, the round-wise JoSAA 2023 cutoff has released on the official website. JoSAA counselling is held to provide admission into NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and IITs to eligible candidates.

Physical Verification: For IITs

The physical verification process starts from the first day of JoSAA 2023 choice filling and continues through the counseling rounds of JoSAA 2023.

Each JEE (Advanced) 2023 qualified PwD candidate is required to complete this process latest by the end of the counseling round in which they are allocated a seat (if any), failing which the allocated seat shall be canceled.

Before candidates come for physical verification they are required to register on the JoSAA 2023 portal.

Candidates are required to choose any one IIT (for physical verification), date, as well as time (FN/AN) using the link available on the JoSAA 2023 portal before coming for physical verification.

Physical Verification: For NIT + System

Step 1: Registration – In the first step, the candidates had to complete the JoSAA 2023 registration process. Candidates could follow the given process to register for JoSAA 2023.

• Go to the official website of JoSAA 2023.
• Click on the registration link.
• Enter JEE Main 2023 roll number and password to register.
• JEE Advanced 2023 qualified candidates will be able to use their corresponding password to log in.
• Enter basic details such as the candidate’s nationality, state code of eligibility, gender, and more.
• Review the details and reconfirm it.
• No personal information, except for contact information, can be modified by the candidates.

Step 2: JoSAA Choice Filling – After the JoSAA registration process is completed, candidates will have to fill in their choice of courses and colleges from the available list. The courses and colleges for which the candidates are eligible according to their qualifications (JEE Main or JEE Advanced) will be listed online mode. The selection of courses and colleges has to be done in the order of preference.

Step 3: Choice Locking – Finally, the candidates have to lock their selected choices. It has to be noted that no changes will be accepted once the choices are locked by the candidates. A printout of the locked choices has to be taken for future reference.
