CUET UG 2023 Examination Begins

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CUET UG 2023 exam from i.e., May 21, 2023. Students who are going to appear for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate 2023 must keep the documents ready required to appear for the entrance examination.

The CUET UG 2023 is scheduled to be conducted from May 21 to June 2 and June 5 and 6. On the day of the exam, it is mandatory for all students to bring their CUET UG admit card 2023. Candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website.

In addition to the admit card, candidates must also carry a valid ID proof with them on the day of the exam.

For this year’s CUET exam, a total of 16.85 lakh students have registered, out of which 13.95 lakh students have successfully completed the application process by paying the fee and submitting the online form. Among the 13.99 lakh students preparing for CUET UG 2023, 6.51 lakh students are female.

It shall be noted that the exam to be held from May 21 to May 25 has been cancelled for the Jammu and Kashmir students. The students of Jammu and Kashmir will now appear in the exam from May 26.

The CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted in online test mode. The CUET question paper comprises four sections and will be available in 13 different languages. The CUET UG Exam 2023 will be conducted in three slots – Slot 1 will be held for 3 hours 15 minutes, Slot 2 will be held for 3 hours 45 minutes (may vary as per choice of sections) and Slot 3 will be notified.

The CUET UG marking scheme is defined as 5 marks awarded for every correct answer or the most appropriate answer, 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer however unanswered questions will be given 0.

CUET 2023 Analysis and Student Reactions

The CUET 2023 analysis and student reactions state that the exam was of moderate difficulty level. The Language Test and General Test sections were of easy to moderate levels. The questions from the English test were on Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary. The questions were direct, which did not pose a challenge to students. For the General Test, questions were of moderate difficulty level. CUET 2023 Admit Card

The CUET 2023 admit card for phase 2 is expected to be released by May 23. The admit card for the first phase was released on May 19 for exams dated May 21 to May 24. Prior to that, NTA released the CUET 2023 advance intimation to exam city slip on May 14 and May 16 for candidates whose test is scheduled between May 21 and May 24 and May 25 to May 28 respectively. The document mentions the name of the city wherein the exam centre is located along with the exam date, slot and paper. CUET UG admit card is a mandatory document that has to be carried to the exam centre. The CUET admit card 2023 has to be downloaded by logging in with the registration credentials.
