CUET 2022 Application Process Reopened

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG application process reopened again from Friday, May 27. University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar on Friday, May 27 tweeted, "in view of the representations received from the candidates regarding giving them an opportunity to submit their Online Application Form for CUET (UG) – 2022, we have decided to keep the CUET (UG) online application process open again from May 27 to 31, 2022 (up to 9 PM)." The candidates can apply till May 31 through the official websites- cuet.samarth.ac.in, nta.ac.in/cuetexam

UGC Chairman earlier informed that CUET UG 2022 can be held twice a year . "With the possibility that CUET will be conducted twice in a year, this will further help the students to plan and attempt CUET. Best wishes to all CUET applicants," he tweeted.

According to the UGC chairman, over 11 lakh (11,51,319) candidates have applied for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022), and 9 lakh (9,13,540) candidates paid the application fee.

CUET UG 2022 exam date will be notified soon. CUET UG paper will have four sections , which include a compulsory language test, two domain-specific tests, and a general test. The CUET UG 2022 will be held in 13 languages- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The candidates can download the CUET UG 2022 admit card from the official website- cuet.samarth.ac.in. “The e-Admit Card would be issued provisionally to the candidates through the NTA website: https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility conditions and receipt of the prescribed application fee by NTA,” CUET notification mentioned.
