CSAB Special Round 2 Cutoff 2023 Out

The Central Seat Allocation Board is expected to release CSAB Special Round 2 cutoff 2023 for NIT, IIIT, and GFTI today, August 14, 2023, in a short while after the second seat allotment is published. As indicated in the provided schedule, the release time for the seat allotment is set for 5 PM, only after which the cutoff will be declared. The opening rank indicates the highest rank at which a candidate was offered admission to a specific course or program. The closing rank is the lowest rank at which a candidate was granted admission to a particular course. In other terms, the opening rank is the one that was achieved by the first candidate, and the closing rank is the one that was achieved by the last candidate who got admitted to a specific course

Following the release of the CSAB Special Round 2 Seat Allotment, candidates will have the option to exercise their willingness to accept the offered seat online. As there won’t be any further counseling rounds beyond CSAB Special Round 2, candidates have to choose between accepting the seat or withdrawing from the counseling process. For those opting to accept the seat, they should complete online reporting and document verification from August 13 to August 16, 2023, by 5 PM. Additionally, they must physically report to the allotted institute between August 14 and August 21, 2023, to finalize payment of the admission fee and any remaining fees.

CSAB 2023 Seat Allotment

The seat allotment process of CSAB 2023 includes the following procedure that every candidate is required to follow. The detailed procedure is mentioned below.

Step 1 – Registration: To register themselves, applicants have to log in at CSAB official website using their application number and password of JEE Mains 2023

Step 2 – Choice of Participating Institute: Every candidate is required to select their preferred college/institute and courses. The authorities will allot seats and colleges on the basis of the rank obtained by the candidate

Step 3 – Paying Counselling Fees: Students have to pay the counselling fees in online mode using a debit card/credit card

Step 4 – Seat Allotment: Candidates can check their allotted seat in the online mode which will be published on the official website of CSAB

Step 5 – Verification of Documents: After the seat allotment process is over, students have to report to the allotted institute/college for verification of their documents. Candidates must note that the seat will be confirmed only after the payment of the counselling fee.

CSAB Counselling 2023 – Important Instructions to Candidates

The candidates who are willing to take part in the CSAB admission 2023 to IIITs, NITs and GFTIs must take note of the following instructions mentioned below.

• Every candidate must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria before registering for CSAB 2023

• The CSAB counselling registration form 2023 must be filled by every candidate with utmost diligence

• All the applicants must fill the registration form and pay the counselling fee well in advance before the deadline

• The choice of college and preferred course must be locked by students before the closing date

• The seats at participating institutions/colleges will only be confirmed after the payment of the counselling fee

• Every candidate must carry the original documents and certificates at the allotted institute to successfully complete the admission procedure
