UGAT 2021:  Under Graduate Aptitude Test or UGAT is a standardized test administered by AIMA or All India Management Association annually for the screening of candidates for various undergraduate programmes like IMBA (Integrated MBA), BBA, BCA, BCom, BHM, BSc. etc. It is also known as AIMA UGAT. The admissions in these courses on the basis of the UGAT Result are done in the AIMA Member Institutes of UGAT.

The UGAT 2021 is being conducted for admissions into the following programmes or courses: Integrated MBA (IMBA), BBA, BCA, BBM, BHM, B.COM (E-Com), B.Sc. (IT), Bachelor of Foreign Trade, Bachelor of Information Technology and Management, etc. on behalf of Participating MIs or Member Institutes.

The UGAT 2020 was conducted both in the Paper Based Test or PBT mode as well as in the Internet Based Test or IBT mode taking in consideration the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.

This time the UGAT 2021 is expected to be conducted only in the IBT or Internet Based Test mode since the covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing. Students are advised to keep visiting this page for any further updates.

There will be two tests conducted in UGAT 2021 as follows: One for BHM and One for the rest other courses like BBA, IMBA, BCA, BCom, BSc. etc. Candidates interested in all the courses can appear for the BHM Test. However, the scores of the first 4 sections that are common for both the exams will be used for admissions into all the courses other than BHM and the Total Score will be used for admissions into the BHM courses.

UGAT 2021 is expected to be conducted in the 1^st week of June, 2021 and the Application for the same is expected to arrive online tentatively in the 1^st week of January 2021 on the AIMA official website: www.aima.in .

UGAT 2021 Key Points:

UGAT Application Form 2021:  The UGAT Application Form 2021 will be available tentatively from the 1^st week of January, 2021. The Application Form will be available both Online and Offline.

The Online Application Form for UGAT 2021 will be available on the AIMA Official website: www.aima.in. The Application Form will be available online tentatively till  the last week of March, 2021.

The Candidates can choose any of the following 5 methods to apply for UGAT 2021:

Candidate can choose any one of the five modes to apply:
 

• Purchase the Registration Form against cash payment of Rs. 650/- from listed Institutes or AIMA, New Delhi.
• Register online at website link: https://apps.aima.in/Ugat2021 with Credit Card or Debit Card (ATM Card) payment of Rs. 650/-. Detailed procedure will be given on the website link.
• Register online at website link: https://apps.aima.in/Ugat2021 by making payment of Rs. 650/- through Net Banking. Detailed Procedure will be given at the website link.
• Register online at website link: https://apps.aima.in/Ugat2021 along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 650/- in favour of “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi. Detailed procedure will be given on the website link.

The guidelines to fill the UGAT Application Form 2021 Online are as follows:

• Candidates are required to apply online through website: http://apps.aima.in/ugat2021 .
• Step 1: New Candidate to create Login-

1. New Candidate to visit the website: http://apps.aima.in/ugat2021 and click : Fresh Candidate (Click here) to Create Login.
2. Fill the details to create Log In. You must have a valid email ID for applying online. Press the button “Submit”. Once the information filled here will not be changed. The confirmation for the registration will also be sent on your email entered.
3. Note: Kindly note the Email-ID and Date of birth as filled by you will be used to login to the website to fill the online application form.
4. Essential Documents to be made ready:

Before starting to fill up the on-line application, keep ready with you the following details / documents / Information:

a) Valid Email ID (the email should be valid for at least 1 year)

b) Personal details

c) Educational qualification details

d) Image of scanned photograph in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB

e) Image of scanned signature in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB

f) Demand Draft of requisite of Rs. 650/- drawn in favour of “All India Management Association”, payable at New Delhi, in case making the payment through DD or Debit / Credit Card/Net Banking details in case making the online payment.

• Step 2: Already Logged in Candidate to complete the Online Application Process: Already Logged in Candidate to visit the website : http://apps.aima.in/ugat2021 and login by clicking Already Logged in Candidate(CLICK HERE) to Complete Process

On clicking Already Logged in Candidate (CLICK HERE) to Complete Process page will appear which will have buttons indicating 4 actions which are to be completed for submission of online application form:

1. Action 1: Fill Application-
   1. Fill the details on the online application form. Since your eligibility will be screened based on the information furnished by you, you are required to exercise sufficient care to correctly furnish the details of your Qualification, etc.
   2. While filling the application form online, please save the information by clicking the button “SAVE”.
   3. In case you wish to edit any information, you can do that by log in again using Email-ID and Date of birth and after editing the information, make sure to save the information by clicking the button “SAVE”.

1. Action 2: Uploading Images:
   1.  Uploading Photograph: Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture. Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white background, and has no harsh shadows. If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen. Also, ensure that both ears are visible in the picture. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face. The image should only be in .jpg or .jpeg format. Size of file should be not be more than 50 kb.
   2. Uploading Signature: - Sign on white paper with Black ink pen and scan it. Please scan the signature area only and not the entire page and ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50 kb. Please note that this signature would appear on the Admit Card, and if it does not match the signature on the answer sheet at the time of the written test and at the time of Interview, the candidature will be cancelled. The image should only be in .jpg or .jpeg format. Size of file should not be more than 50 kb.

1. Action 3: Make Payment: There are two options available for the payment of application fee as mentioned below:

1. Payment through Demand Draft: In case payment option selected is demand draft follow the procedure given below:

Make demand draft of Rs. 650/- in favour of “All India Management Association”, payable at New Delhi. The details of the Demand Draft are to be filled in the online application form. Candidates are advised to check the following details carefully before sending the demand draft.

DD should be made in favour of “All India Management Association”, Payable at New Delhi of Rs. 650/-

Signature of the issuing authority on the demand draft

Candidates applying through Demand Draft are required to send the printout of the Application Form, duly completed in all respect, along with Demand Draft on the following address so as to reach on or before last date.

The duly filled in form should reach the above address on or before the last date. Incomplete forms or forms received late will not be accepted. The Institute does not take any responsibility for delay or loss of forms or correspondence in postal transit or by courier. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the printout and Demand Draft for future reference.

Payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking: In case the payment option selected is Net Banking or Debit/Credit Card and photographs and signatures uploaded, candidates need not send the printout of the Online Application Form, however, they are advised to keep the copy of the application form for future references.

Before filling the UGAT Application Form 2021 the candidates must go through the Prospectus of UGAT 2021 to check all the important details like the Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Participating Institutes, Programs or Courses offered, etc.

UGAT Eligibility Criteria 2021: The UGAT Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

UGAT Exam Pattern 2021:- The UGAT Exam Pattern 2021 is important to read for every student who wishes to appear for it.

UGAT Exam Pattern 2021: Marking Criteria:

• +1 for correct answer
• There is a negative marking

UGAT Participating Colleges 2021: The UGAT Participating Colleges 2021 or UGAT Participating Institutes 2021 include the 66 Colleges for admissions in IMBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, BHM, BSc. etc. courses.

There are various Member Institutes or MIs of AIMA that participate in the UGAT participating Institutes the updated list of Member Institutes is declared after the UGAT Results the below mentioned list is on the basis of last year.

The UGAT Participating Colleges/Institutes/Universities 2021 are as follows:

Candidate will have to select only those Institutes where they are eligible and wish to apply for admission to their Under Graduate Courses. This can be done by filling the MI code no. of the desired Institutes at the appropriate place in the UGAT Application Form.

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

UGAT Admit Card 2021:  The UGAT Admit Card 2021 or UGAT Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download tentatively in the 1^st week of May, 2021 on the official website of UGAT 2021: http://apps.aima.in/ugat2021.

On the basis of information given in the UGAT Application Form, Admit Card of provisionally eligible candidates will be available for download from website: http://apps.aima.in/ugat2021  on or after the start date.

Download Admit Card – On the due date for Admit Card, download admit card from website link http://apps.aima.in/ugat2021 containing the details of the Centre/Venue for the examination, etc., will be available.

Print Admit Card - Take a printout of the admit card. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the Written Test Venue without a valid Admit Card.

NOTE: The admit card for written test will NOT be sent by post or email. Candidates are advised to regularly check AIMA website for updates.

Candidates can download their UGAT Admit Card 2021 by following the below mentioned steps:

• Click on the Admit Card Link
• Enter the Application Number, Date of Birth or Email Address
• Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details mentioned in Admit Card
• Download the UGAT Admit Card 2021.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Application Number and Name of Candidate and other important information including the Instructions to be followed by the candidate at the exam centre before, after and during the Entrance Examination.

UGAT Result 2021: The AIMA UGAT Result 2021 will be declared tentatively after 2 or 3 weeks of the conduction of UGAT 2021.The UGAT Result 2021 will be published online on the AIMA UGAT website: www.aima.in .

Candidates can check their UGAT Result 2021 by following the below mentioned steps:

• Visit the official Website i.e., www.aima.in .
• Enter Roll Number and Form Number
• Result Will be Displayed on the screen
• Download the UGAT Result 2021 for further references.

The UGAT Result 2021 will contain the following mentioned details:

• Candidate Name
• Roll Number
• Section wise and Overall Marks.

UGAT Counselling Procedure 2021:  There is no centralized UGAT Counselling Procedure 2021 that will be conducted by the AIMA.

Candidates after receiving their UGAT 2021 Scores after the UGAT Result 2021 is declared can apply to the individual participating member institutes of AIMA for UGAT 2021.

Also, the candidates can also choose the option of sending scores to member institutes of AIMA while filling the UGAT Application Form 2021.

The Candidates who want to apply for all the programmes and have given the UGAT for BHM can apply with their total score of UGAT 2021 for the BHM courses and for all the rest for which they are eligible and want to apply, they can do so by applying through the total score of the Sections 1 to 4 which are common in both the tests.

Candidates must check the Individual Institute’s website and prospectus for all the admission schedule and procedures. AIMA will not be responsible for any of the admission procedures of any of its member Institutes.

After all the admissions to the Colleges in the different courses through UGAT 2021 are completed the classes for the first year of the new session will begin as per the schedule declared by the respective institutes.
