OJEE 2021: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination 2021 or OJEE 2021 will be conducted by the JEE Cell Odisha for admissions into the first year of the courses B.Pharm and Integrated MBA after class 12th or equivalent in the various colleges located in the State of Odisha (Except GOI). The Examination is also conducted for admissions into the first year of the various post graduate courses and also for the lateral entry into the Engineering Undergraduate courses.

Here we are only covering the OJEE 2021 to be conducted for the B.Pharm and Integrated MBA courses after the class 12th or equivalent.

The OJEE 2021 will be conducted tentatively in the last week of May, 2021 and the application for the same will be made available for online registration tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2021.

The OJEE 2021 will be conducted as a Computer Based Test for both B.Pharma and Integrated MBA. The Exam will be of 2 hours duration for B.Pharma whereas it will be of 1 hour duration for the Integrated MBA course respectively.

For B.Pharma there will be four papers of 30 questions each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology in which the candidate can choose to opt either for Mathematics or Biology based upon the subject combination that the candidate has in 10+2 or equivalent.

Candidates are advised to appear either PCB or PCM as per their choice. The candidate must attempt either PCB or PCM. If a candidate chooses to appear in the entire subject Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (30 questions each), Ranking will be done on the basis of marks obtained either in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or in Physics, Chemistry and Biology whichever is higher.

OJEE Application Form 2021:  The OJEE Application Form 2021 will be available tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2021 on the OJEE Official Website: www.ojee.nic.in .

The Application Form will be available only in the Online Mode and will continue to be available tentatively till the 3rd or last week of March, 2021.

The Application Fee for OJEE 2021 will be INR 1000 for B. Pharm and Integrated MBA (Form A).

The OJEE Application Form 2021 can be filled online by the following Process:

  1. Candidates can apply for OJEE  2021 only through “Online” mode.
  2. Information Brochure can be seen and downloaded from the website www.ojee.nic.in  / www.odishajee.com  
  3. Application form may be filled and submitted online through the website www.ojee.nic.in.
  4. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall summarily be disqualified.
  5. Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence. (a)Printouts of the computer-generated Confirmation Page of the Application Form. (b) Proof of fee payment.
  6. The fee can be remitted through any of the following methods: (a) By Debit Card/ credit card (VISA / MASTER / Maestro cards/ internet banking).
  7. The candidates should provide all the authentic details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Registration Number shall be generated.
  8. Candidate has to fill the particulars online and also upload his/her photograph, full signature and thumb impression of left hand. It is not necessary to send the hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page to the OJEE office.
  9. However, the candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page along with proof of money transfer for future reference or correspondence, if any.
  10. Applicant must quote the registration number/ Application number generated after submission of all his/her required personal data as a reference in all his/her future correspondence with OJEE 2021.
  11. Application must be completed in all respect. Incomplete / unsuccessful submission of application will lead to outright rejection. Completed application means:

a. Completion of Registration.

b. Uploading of scanned copy of photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression and

c. payment of the required fee.

d. Generation of Confirmation Page

  1. Options such as Category, Choice of place of examination Centre and Reservation & Sub-reservation category once given by the applicant in the application form, cannot be changed afterwards under any circumstances. 8. Applicant should give options only with respect to category that he/she can substantiate the same with documentary evidences during document verification / counselling. There is no provision of uploading any proof of these categories during online registration.
  2. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form. Multiple applications for a particular stream or in multiple streams of a candidate are liable to be rejected. After submission of an application, options cannot be changed at a later stage.
  3. The application fee once paid is non-refundable.
  4. Candidates may check the status of their application on the OJEE 2021 website by giving the registration number/ application number (Chosen User ID) and Password that is created during registration.
  5. The facility of submission of application form will be ceased at 05.00 PM on the last day of filling up online-application form submission. Hence, candidates are required to complete the process within the prescribed duration. Candidates can only pay the application fee on-line till 5 days after the last date of online-application, provided if the candidate completed the form filling part successfully.

Eligibility

OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2021: The OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

 

The OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2021 in detail are as follows: 

Citizenship:

  • Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
  • NRI or PIO candidates can also apply for admission but their admission will only be for supernumerary seats.

Age Limit:

  • There is no age limit but for marine engineering maximum age limit is 22 years.

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination from any school in Odisha or outside state with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject.
  • Candidate should score at least 45% marks in class 12th
  • For reserved category, marks relaxation is 5%.

Integrated MBA:

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination from any school in Odisha or outside state.

OJEE 2021 Reservation Criteria in Detail:

Odisha State Category:

  • The candidate must have passed/appeared 10+2 examination from any of the recognized institution in the State of Odisha for taking admission into Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Parents of the candidate should be native of Odisha. To claim benefit under this criterion, a candidate shall have to furnish at the time of document verification a “resident/ nativity certificate”,
  • Sons/ daughters/ spouse of the employees of Government of Odisha/ Govt. of India/ Govt. of Odisha Undertakings/ Govt. of India undertakings, serving in the State of Odisha at the time of application.
  • The reservation facility is also applicable to the to the Children/ wards of All India Civil Service Officers serving in the State of Odisha at par with the natives of Odisha, except for any reservation being extended to ST, SC and SEBC categories so far as admission to Professional / Technical Institutions in the State is concerned.

OJEE 2021 Reserved Categories under Odisha State Categories are given below:

For SC/ST

  • For SC/ST candidate, all the eligible to claim reservation benefits for admission through OJEE 2021.
  • Candidates need to produce the SC/ST certificate in the prescribed format at the time of counselling.
  • Under this Category, persons who have migrated from their state of origin to another state for the purpose of seeking education, employment etc., will be deemed to be scheduled caste/ tribe of the state of their origin and will be entitled to derive benefits from the state of origin and not from the state to which they have migrated.

 

 

For GC (Green Card):

  • Candidates applying under Green Card category shall furnish the Green card of their parents issued by Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha, in original at the time of document verification.
  • The personal details of the candidate such as name, date of birth of the candidate along with the parents’ names must be as per the Class 10th passing certificate.
  • The reservation for Green Card holders does not apply to M. Tech/M. Pharm/M. Arch/ M Plan Programs.

For Person with Disability

  • The candidates with 40% disabilities in consonance with section-39 of the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995 are eligible to be considered for getting reservation under PC/PWD category
  • A Medical Board will inspect the medical standards of the candidate and based on their examination of the candidate; the board will declare percentage and type of disability.
  • Percentage and type of disability will be declared by Medical Board
  • Candidate SHOULD NOT, submit along with the application form a medical certificate for claiming their Physically Challenged category. But, he/she is advised to keep a copy of their Physical Challenged certificate issued from Medical board in the examination hall.

For Wards of Ex-servicemen:

  • Candidates applying under this reservation category will be required to present a certificate duly approved by Rajya Sainik Board at the time of verification of documents to claim this reservation.

 

For Women Candidates:

  • All Women Candidate are eligible to claim this reservation but only if they are from odisha state only.
  • At the time of verification, women candidates will present the Resident of Odisha Certificate to claim this reservation.
  • This reservation is not valid for Outside State Category, Non-Indian Resident Indians, Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme and Odias belonging to outlying Odia speaking tracts (OL Category).

 

For Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme

  • Sons and daughters of parents whose annual income is less than Rs. 8 lakhs (Rupees Eight lakh only) from all sources are eligible for seats under this scheme.
  • The waiver is limited to the tuition fee as approved by the Government of Odisha Fee Committee for self-financing Institutions and by the Government for the Government Institutions. All other fees except the tuition fee will have to be paid by the beneficiary.
  • The candidate should be a native of Odisha.
  • At the time of verification, candidates have to submit ‘Resident Certificate’ and ‘Income Certificate’ in the prescribed format.

OL Category:

  • This category is meant for Odias belonging to outlying Oriya (Odia) speaking tracts.
  • 3% of seats of BTech, BPlan and BArch courses in Government Engineering colleges are reserved for Odia speaking people residing outside the State of Odisha.
  • OL reservation is not applicable to private engineering colleges and also for MBA/ MCA/ Pharmacy / LE/ M.Tech / M.Pharm / M.Arch./Integrated MBA streams.
  • For to claim this reservation, candidate has to submit a nativity certificate from outside the state of Odisha in the prescribed format and the candidate has to pass an Odia examination with minimum 40% marks to be conducted by OJEE 2020 committee at the time of counseling process.
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 Science examination from outside Odisha.

 

 

Non-Resident Indians: (NRI)

  • NRI means Sons and Daughters of an Indian citizen who ordinarily reside outside India and holds an Indian passport.
  • The candidate eligible to avail NRI category must produce the following documents at the time of document verification.
  • Copies of passport
  • Work permit
  • Equivalence certificate of the qualifying examination

Outside State Category:

  • Outside state candidates are not eligible for admission in Government Colleges to Engineering/ MBA /MCA courses and under any of the Lateral Entry programs.
  • Outside state candidates are eligible for admission in Private colleges in B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBA, Integrated MBA, MCA at 1st year level.

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

 

OJEE Admit Card 2021:  The OJEE Admit Card 2021 or OJEE Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download tentatively in the 4th week of April, 2021 or 1st week of May, 2021 on the official website of OJEE: www.ojee.nic.in or  www.odishajee.com .

 

Download the OJEE Admit Card 2021 by following below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above-mentioned official website.
  • Click on the Download OJEE Admit Card link.
  • Enter the Application Number and Date of Birth.
  • Click on Login.
  • Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.
  • Download and Print the OJEE Admit Card 2021.

The candidate has to download two copies of the admit card from the OJEE website which must be endorsed by the Invigilator of the examination Centre for allowing the candidate to appear in the exam.

  1. If an applicant fails to take print out of Admit Card from the OJEE 2021 website for the examination , then he/ she must contact OJEE 2021 office immediately.
  2. If the candidate desires to change any information printed on the Admit card, he/she has to contact OJEE 2021 office immediately after taking the print out of the Admit Card before the last date.
  3. Both the downloaded copies of the admit cards should be signed by the invigilator during examination.
  4. One copy must be submitted at the examination hall and the other should be retained by the candidate. However, the submitted admit card may be examined at a later stage to validate the authenticity.

The candidate has to keep the Admit card duly signed by invigilator till he/she takes final admission in the University /College/Institution.

OJEE Result 2021: The OJEE Result 2021 will be published online on the OJEE website: www.ojee.nic.in  or www.odishajee.com .

To check the OJEE Result 2021 by following the below mentioned steps:

  • Go to the official website.
  • Enter the Application Number, Date of Birth and Security Pin.
  • Click on the Submit button.
  • Result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and Print the OJEE Result 2021 for further references.

Issue of Marks:

If the candidate wants to know the subject-wise marks secured by them should make a written request enclosing a demand draft of Rs. 400/- (Rupees four hundred only) in favour of “OJEE-2021” drawn on any Nationalized Bank at Bhubaneswar, so as to reach the OJEE office within 10 days of the publication of result.

Re-totaling and Review:

Since OJEE-2021 is a computer-based examination and therefore machine evaluated, therefore it may be claimed to completely error-free. Based on the evaluation, a merit list is prepared. There is no award in class. Mark sheets are not issued in general. However, a candidate may request for re-totalling / re-addition/re-evaluation with a fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) in the shape of demand draft in favour of OJEE-2021 drawn on any nationalized bank in Bhubaneswar so as to reach the OJEE office within 7 days of the publication of OJEE – 2021 result. Re-evaluation of answer script is not permissible. A committee will verify the results and its decision will be final and binding on the applicant.

Admission Counselling

 

OJEE Counselling Procedure 2021:  The OJEE Counselling Procedure 2021 or the OJEE Web Based Counselling cum Admission process 2021 will start after the OJEE 2021 Result has been declared.

 

For admissions into the B. Pharm and the Integrated MBA courses the counselling will be conducted based upon the Candidate’s Merit as per their Rank Card of OJEE 2021.

 

The OJEE Counselling Procedure 2021 in detail will be as follows:

  • Registration/ Choice filling and locking: A candidate should first register in the web site and fill his/her details as per different fields provided, after which he/she can pay the registration fee and FILL CHOICES.

Filled choices can be changed as per wish of the candidate before locking the same.

Finally selected choice should be locked with the help of OTP/Password. It is not possible to change the choices or order of choice after locking the filled choice.

If the candidate does not lock his choice through OTP/Password, then the last filled choice shall be automatically locked after the period of choice filling and locking is over.

  • Bank Payments: All candidates who are willing to participate in admission process have to pay a nonrefundable Registration Fee of Rs.450/-. They can pay this online by selecting any of the Gateways: SBI/ BILLDESK/HDFC for Debit card, credit card, net banking payment options. After choice filling, Mock result will be given on specified date after which choice locking facility will be activated. After locking of choices within due date, 1st Round Allotment will be published on a schedule date.

 

Allotted candidates then have to exercise his freeze/float option, deposit part admission fee and to upload required documents by logging to own id. Candidates who have not been allotted should wait for further results of subsequent rounds of counselling. Allotted candidates have to pay part admission fee of Rs.5,000/- (For SC, ST and PC Candidate) and Rs.10,000/-(For General Candidates). Mode of payment: Two ways payment can be made. Please choose any one as per your convenience. Online payment: Online payment facility available through payment get-ways like BILLDESK/SBI MOPs/HDFC. This facility is available in the candidate’s login portal. If a candidate wishes to pay online (Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card) then he/she has to login to their account in www.ojee.nic.in and can go to fee payments interface.

Offline Payment: Print the bank challan from SBI payment gateway which is available in your own login in www.ojee.nic.in  and deposit the money in any SBI branch.

  • Document Verification and Withdrawal:

Document Verification: All the allotted candidates have to upload required documents in their ID after allotment during assigned date for verification of their respective documents, as mentioned in the brochure. During document verification query may be raised by the verifying officers depending on the observations. Therefore, candidates must check their ID regularly during counselling for any message. The query raised must be replied within due date. Otherwise the document verification will be cancelled and the allotted seat will be withdrawn. A candidate is liable to lose his allotted seat in the case of any, irregularity or un-fulfilment of data and their supporting documents as per guidelines.

  • All the candidates shall get a chance for withdrawal after allotment within different rounds of counselling. There will be a last date up to which a candidate can withdraw. After that date any withdrawal is not allowed and the money deposited by candidate as part admission will be forfeited. Money deposited by candidate as part admission will be refunded by OJEE, only if the candidate withdraws within the schedule time mentioned for withdrawal following due withdrawal process. Hence, there will be no refund from OJEE if the candidate wants to get refund after due date of withdrawal is over.

 

  • Seat Allotments and Reporting at the allotted Institute: All the allotted candidates, who do not participate in the process of document verification and admission fee payment, will be listed out of the counselling process. His/her candidature will not be considered in any further rounds of allotment.

 

All the candidates are advised not to report to the allotted college as per 1st , 2nd and 3rd Round allotment under any circumstances. They are advised to wait for final allotment which takes into account auto-upgradation of their allotted seat/college as per their filled and locked choices.

 

The candidates who exercise the option of withdrawal after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round allotment will be out of the counselling/ allotment process and will not be considered for further process under any circumstances. The remaining candidates will be considered for auto up-gradation except option given by freeze by the candidates.

 

A final allotment will be available on the website www.ojee.nic.in . Then candidates can download their respective individual allotment letters from the website after log-in. A candidate is required to report to the finally-allotted college/course for admission. The reported candidate to the finally allotted college shall receive the registration card from the respective colleges/universities to which they are admitted.

Candidates who have taken withdrawal after allotment at any round will be out of the counselling/allotment process and will not be considered for further allotment/up-gradation under any circumstances. The remaining registered candidates (whether allotted a seat or not) will be considered for auto up gradation.

After the OJEE Counselling Procedure 2021 or the OJEE Web-based Counselling-cum-Admission Procedure 2021 is completed and the admissions in the B.
