NATA 2021 Latest Update: NATA 2021: Third Test Registration started| Exam on 3 September

The Council of Architecture (CoA) released the result for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture 2021 today on 22nd July, 2021.  NATA 2021 second test was conducted on July 11. The second test was posted from June to July due to a sudden spike in Covid-19 cases across India. The qualifying marks for NATA 2021 examination is 70 marks out of 200. Out of 21657 candidates appeared for the Exam 11583 candidates have qualified in the Second Test. In case a candidate has appeared for both Tests, the result would be declared taking into account best marks obtained by the candidate(s) in two attempts. The candidates may download their results from NATA 2021 website www.nata.in.

NATA 2021:  National Aptitude Test in Architecture 2021 or NATA 2021 will be conducted by CoA or Council of Architecture for making a student eligible in taking admissions in the 5 years BArch. Or Bachelor of Architecture course offered by various Architecture Colleges in India. It is by far the biggest Architecture Entrance Test in India through which most of the Architecture Colleges take admissions excluding only the IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs which take admissions into their BArch. Course through the AAT (JEE Advanced) and JEE Main Paper 2 respectively.

NATA is conducted twice a year and its score is valid in the same academic year. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, in the year 2020 the NATA 2021 First and Second Test were conducted on 29th August and 12th September, 2020 respectively.

NATA 2021 First Test will be tentatively conducted on 10th April, 2021 and the second test will be conducted on 12th June 2021.

The Council of Architecture or CoA has been conducting the NATA Examination since the year 2006. The Examination is conducted twice in a year so that any student who misses on the first attempt also gets another chance. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic there were few changes in the exam pattern of NATA 2020 and the examination was conducted in a comprehensive online mode which the students had option to attempt from their home or at selected exam centres in various cities in India.

The Score of NATA 2021 will be used by most of the Architecture Colleges in India for admissions into their BArch. Courses. As a matter of fact, any student who does not possess a valid score of either JEE Main Paper 2 Examination or NATA or AAT (JEE Advanced: only for IITs) is not eligible to study the BArch. Course in India.
