ISI Admission Test 2021:  The ISI Admission Test 2021 will be conducted by the ISI or Indian Statistical Institute on 18^th July, 2021 for admissions into its B. Stat (Hons.) and B. Math (Hons.) courses. The ISI Kolkata or Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata offers these two 3 years Undergraduate courses in which the admissions are through the ISI Admission Test and also through other methods including Olympiad etc.

Candidates those who have been selected as INMO AWARDEES to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) in the current year or in any previous year, based on their performance in the Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO) conducted by the National Board of Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India Such Candidates are generally called for interview.

ISI Admission Test 2021 Key Points:

ISI Admission Test Application 2021:  The ISI Admission Test Application 2021 will starts from 3rd May 2021 to 1st June 2021, announcement for the same will be done on 10^th March on the ISI Official website: https://www.isical.ac.in/ .

The Application Form will be available only in the Online mode on the ISI Official website https://www.isical.ac.in/

The Application Fee for the ISI Admission Test will be as follows:

• INR 1250 for General Candidates
• INR 625 for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/Pwd Candidates

The ISI Admission Test Application 2021 can be filled online by following these steps:

Step 1: Registration- First, visit the official website at www.isical.ac.in . Candidates have to complete ISI Admission Test Online Registration 2021 by entering the following details-

• Candidate’s name
• Date of Birth
• Communication information - Mobile number and Email Id
• Group of ISI admission test applying for
• Programme applying for (B.Stat, B.Math)
• Validation code

After the candidates are done with providing all the above information, a user Id will be created. Candidates will have to set a password for their account.

Step 2: Filling the ISI Admission Test Application 2021- After successful registration for ISI Admission Test 2021, candidates will have to login at the candidate portal using the user Id and password created earlier. They have to enter further information like personal details including their category, parents’ details, communication details,etc. in this step. They will also be required to opt for three exam cities based on the order of preference while filling the ISI Admission Test application form.

Step 3 Documents Uploading - After providing the requisite details, candidates will have to upload scanned images of recent passport sized photograph and signature in accordance with the specifications provided by authorities. Scanned images of supporting documents along with photograph and signature also have to be submitted by candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Step 4 Academic Details- After uploading the required documents in ISI application form 2021, candidates have to enter the academic details related to academics that include secondary or equivalent, higher secondary. After successful completion, candidates will be required to verify and confirm the information so provided.

Step 5 Payment of Application Fee- The last step involves payment of ISI application form fee. Candidates will be redirected to SBI Collect website for payment of fee in ISI Admission Test 2021 application form payable after 2 days of form submission. Candidates will be able to pay the ISI Admission Test Fee 2021 through internet banking, debit/ credit card or through Challan for cash payment at the SBI Branch.

• Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.

Candidates will receive the admit card notification on Email, after candidate can download the same from the Dashboard of your account in the application portal after logging in.

In case of any discrepancies in the information provided in the Admit Cards, including mismatch in the scanned photograph/signature, Candidate must report by email to [email protected] immediately.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Roll Number, Registration Number, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions

Important Instruction:

• You are expected to report to the Test Centre at least one hour before the commencement of the Test.
• You will not be allowed to enter the Test Centre after 10 (ten) minutes from the start of the Test.
• You will be allowed to exit the Examination Hall with the Test Booklet (question paper) AFTER you submit your answer script at the end of the Test. If you submit the same BEFORE the end of the Test (but only after at least one hour has elapsed), you must also submit the Test Booklet, which you can collect later, after the Test is over.
• You will ordinarily not be permitted to leave the Examination Hall during the Test. In exceptional circumstances, this may be allowed provided you deposit the Test Booklet and answer script with the invigilator.
• Improper conduct, failure to comply with these instructions, adoption of any unfair means or participation in any act of impersonation in the Test will render you liable for expulsion from the Test Centre, cancellation of your answer sheets and forfeiture of your claim for admission.
• To verify the identity of each candidate and to check possible impersonation, the authorities conducting the Test may capture additional biometric information at the Test Centre.
• Once you are in the Examination Hall, you will be under CCTV surveillance. Hence you are advised not to indulge in unlawful activities that will invite disqualification or legal action.

ISI Admission Test Result 2021: The ISI Admission Test Result 2021 will be published online on the ISI Admission Test website: www.isical.ac.in .

After the declaration of result, University will conduct the interview of candidate.

Then, authority will declare the final selection list of candidates.

ISI Admission Test 2021 Counselling 2021:  The Admission Counselling 2021 for the ISI Admission Test will start after the candidates have been shortlisted based on their applications either through INMO etc. or through ISI Admission Test.

Based on the candidate’s performance in ISI Admission Test 2021 the candidates from each category will be shortlisted for Interview which is the second step in the admission process at ISI, Kolkata.

After the Interviews are conducted the overall merit list of candidates will be prepared based on their performance in Interview and ISI Admission Test.

The candidates selected in the Merit List will be called in for Interview at ISI Kolkata and will be given admissions into the two courses as per their Rank and Priority.

Once the admissions in ISI Kolkata are over the classes for the B. Math (Hons.) and B. Stat (Hons.) will start at ISI, Kolkata as per their schedule.
