IPU CET 2021: The IPU CET 2021 or the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test 2021 will be conducted by the GGSIP University or Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University tentatively in the last week of May, 2021.

The IPU CET 2021 will conducted for various Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses admissions in the affiliated colleges of the GGSIPU or Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Here we are only covering the 11 undergraduate field of courses mentioned below for which admissions will be based upon IPU CET 2021:

BCA, BBA, B.Tech (Bio Technology), BSc. Nursing, Undergraduate Paramedical Courses, B.Com (Hons.), BSc.(Y) or BSc. in Yoga, BA English and Economics Honors, B Pharma, BHMCT, Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and Mass Communication) or BA (JMC) .

 

The IPU CET 2021 will be a 2.5 hours duration test having 100 questions (150 Questions for BSc. Yoga) for a total of 400 Marks (600 for BSc. Yoga).

IPU CET Application Form 2021:  The IPU CET Application Form 2021 will be available tentatively from the 1st week of February 2021 online on the official website of GGSIPU: www.ipu.ac.in . The Application Form will be available only in the online mode and the last date for the online registration will be tentatively in the last week of February, 2021.

The Application Fee for the IPU CET 2021 will be INR 1200/- only. This has to be paid via online payment modes and the processing charges if any for these will be charged by the students.

 

The IPU CET Application Form 2021 can be filled online successfully by following these steps:

  • Step 1: Sign Up-
    1. Visit the GGSIPU Official Website: www.ipu.ac.in.
    2. Click on “Admission 2021-22”.
    3. Read the Instructions carefully and select "I Agree" and Press 'START' button to proceed further.
    4. The candidate has to Sign-up by filling-up Course Applied; Candidate Name, Mobile Number and E-Mail ID. The candidate will receive User ID (Application Seq. No.) and Password to their Mobile Number/E-Mail ID.
  • Step 2: Filling up the Application Form-
    1. After completing the Sign up process, candidate has to Re-login and Click on “Go To Application” tab for filling-up Eligibility Details, Personal Details, Qualification Details, Upload digital image of Photo, Signature, Documents, etc. as applicable.
    2. Instructions regarding scanning of Photograph/Signature: Candidates should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph, signature in jpg/jpeg format and relevant certificates pdf format as per the process given below:

Photograph Image:

•Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture on light background(not older than 03 weeks)

•Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.

•The size of the scanned image should be up to10KB - 1 00 KB in jpg/ jpeg format only.

Signature Image:

•The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black ink pen.

•The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.

•Please scan the signature area only and not the entire page.

•Size of file should be up to 10 KB – 100 KB in Jpg/jpeg format only. After uploading Photo and Signature images, Click on “Submit” button then Application will be submitted and It will be showing on screen “Your application has been successfully submitted”

 

  1. After uploading Photograph and Signature, click on the “Pre-View” tab and check whether particulars filled are correct in all respects. In case of any error, the same can be edited before finally clicking the “SUBMIT” tab.
  2. Once the Application is filled-in and submitted, the candidates other than exempted categories will automatically be redirected to Online Payment Gateway i.e., via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking. “Make Online Payment” and remit the Application Fee as applicable through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. The candidate may generate a payment acknowledge slip and transaction details at Payment Gateway for future reference.

Eligibility

IPU CET Eligibility Criteria 2021: The IPU CET Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

 

The IPU CET Eligibility Criteria 2021 in detail are as follows:

  • Candidate should be 17 years old as on 31st December 2020

 

  • For SC/ST/OBC, a relaxation of 5 years shall be granted on the maxmium age specified

Bachelor of Vocation

  • 45 years

 

  • the candidate should not be less than 16 years on 31/12/2020

BALLB/BBALLB

No Age Limit, subject to notification of Bar Council of India or the Hon‘ble Court(s) before the commencement of Conselling / Admissions

 

 

Qualification:

  • Candidate who have passed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board with 55% aggregate marks in physics, Chemistry and Math.
  • Candidate must have passed in English in 12th class.

Note: The Blind (including color blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in the course.

The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

 

IPU CET Admit Card 2021:  The IPU CET Admit Card 2021 or IPU CET Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download tentatively in the 1st week of May, 2021 on the official website of IPU CET: www.ipu.ac.in .

Candidates can download their IPU CET Admit Card 2021 by following the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above mentioned website.
  • Enter the Login and Password then click on submit button.
  • Click on Admit Card then admit card will be displayed on screen
  • Check all the details.
  • Download and Print the IPU CET Admit Card 2021.

 

Important Instruction:

Candidate must carry the Admit Card along with anyone of the following documents:

  • Voter Identity Card
  • Driving License
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Employer ID (Government)

 

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions.

 

IPU CET Result 2021: The IPU CET Result 2021 will be published online on the IPU CET website: www.ipu.ac.in .

To check the IPU CET Result 2021 by following the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above mentioned official website.
  • Click on the CET 2021 Result.
  • Programme wise result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Open the List of Programme you applied.
  • Check the IPU CET Result 2021.
  • Download and Print the IPU CET Result 2021 for further references.

IPU CET Result will contain the following Information: Roll Number, Category, Name etc.

The University will declare inter-se-ranks for qualified candidates only. The admissions will be made through counselling’s to be conducted by the University and strictly on the basis of inter-se-merit of the qualified candidates.

Admission Counselling

IPU CET Counselling Procedure 2021:

The IPU CET Counselling Procedure 2021 will start just after the declaration of the IPU CET Result 2021. The Counselling for each course as per the CET will be done online and on the basis of the Rank of Candidate in IPU CET 2021 and their respective category and the reservation policy of the GGSIPU.

 

The IPU CET Counselling Procedure 2021 in detail includes the following steps:

 

  • Submission of Counselling Participation Fee:
    1. Candidate has to deposit a fee Rs 1000/- plus charges as applicable, as one time (non-refundable) Counselling Participation Fee, as per the schedule for each CET Code. The taxes and charges applicable have to be paid by the candidate and is non-refundable.
    2. For depositing the Counselling Participation Fee, the candidate has to visit the GGSIP University admission website http://www.ipuadmissions.nic.in  and select the option for ―payment of counselling participation feel, enter CET details viz CET Roll No, Date of Birth and Mobile Number.

 

  • Registration:
    1. After confirmation of receipt of the Counselling Participation Fee, for the specific CET code for which the candidate has qualified and paid the fees, candidate has to register within the Registration period notified on the website.
    2. In case of Payment of Fee through Challan, candidate can register only after two working days of cash deposited in any branch of Indian Bank.
    3. For Registration, candidate has to enter CET details in the admission website (http://www.ipuadmissions.nic.in) and after authentication, the candidate has to enter his/her personal /academic /contact details (with address, mobile no. & email ID).
    4. During the Registration process, the candidate will get login ID and password.

 

  • Choice Filling:
    1. Choice filling is compulsory for allotment of seat. Candidate will not be considered for online allotment of seat without the filled in choices/preferences.
    2. After registration, candidate has to fill choices for allotment, from the list of all possible combinations of all institutes and courses available, in the order of his/her preference, during the choice filling period.
    3. Once the period for filling of choices/preferences is over, choices/preferences filled by candidate will be used for allotment of seat.

 

  • Result / Allocation of Seats in every round:
    1. After the choice filling period is over, all the choices/preferences filled by the candidate will be considered for online allotment of seat as per merit and respective category and region.
    2. All such candidates, as listed below, will not be considered for allotment of seat:
      1. Candidates who have not paid the counselling participation fee,
      2. Paid the counselling participation fee but not registered,
      3. Paid the counselling participation fee and registered but not filled choices/preferences.
      4. Candidates who were allotted a seat in any round but did not pay the part academic fees of ` 40000/- shall not be considered in subsequent round of counselling.
      5. Candidates who are allocated a seat in any round, pay the part academic fee of ` 40000/-, and then withdrew the admission following due procedure of the University.

Note: Such candidates however shall be eligible for the ―Spot Counselling round.

 

  • Freezing of Allotted Seat after every Round:
    1. After every round of Counselling, if the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted to him and does not want to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling for upgradation, he/she can freeze his/her allotted seat by clicking the freeze option available in his/her account in the counselling website within the specified time period.
    2. If the candidate does not freeze the allotted seat, the next higher preference may be allotted to him/her automatically in the next round subject to availability of seats, and the candidate will not be allowed to retain the earlier allotment under any circumstances.

 

  • Withdrawal and Fee Refund after online Rounds of Counselling:
    1. After depositing of Academic Fees, if a candidate wants to withdraw the admission against the allotted seat, he/she can apply for withdrawal by clicking on the withdrawal option available in his/her account in the admission website within the specified time period, following the online withdrawal procedure.
    2. After withdrawal of admission and refund of fees, the candidates will not be considered in the subsequent round of online counselling except ―Spot Counselling.
    3. All candidates who have withdrawn, freeze their seat, not paid the Part Academic Fee of Rs. 40,000/- and who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, will not be participating in the subsequent round of online counselling and the vacancies with respect to such candidates will be considered for allotment of seat in subsequent Rounds.

 

  • Last Round of Allotment of Seats for Online Counselling
    1. In the last round of online-counselling, the seats (region-wise) and category wise shall be converted to unreserved category after doing seat allotment of the reserved category.
    2. Only the candidates allocated seats, who have paid the Part Academic Fees of INR 40000/-, have not frozen their allotment, and have not withdrawn as per procedure notified, shall be eligible for the sliding round of online counselling.

 

  • Sliding of Allotted Seat after Last Round of Online Allotment of Seats:
    1. Only the candidates who have been allocated seats before the sliding round and who paid the part academic fee of INR 40000/- and did not withdraw their admission or did not freeze the allotted seat by following due procedure of the University, shall be eligible for this round.
    2. The sliding round shall be based on the preferences already entered by the candidates in the online counselling system on the basis of merit of CET of the candidates.
    3. If a candidate, who has paid the Part Academic Fees does not want to participate in the sliding round, then such candidates must freeze their allotment.
    4. After the sliding round, the allocated candidates must report to the allocated institutions for verification of documents and payment of the balance amount of fees (if any).

 

  • Reporting of candidates to the allotted institute/college:
    1. After the sliding round of online seat allotment, the candidate, if allotted a seat/retained the seat from earlier allotment/upgraded to higher choices/preferences, and if he/she has made the payment of part Academic Fee of Rs 40,000/-, he can generate Provisional Admission Slip along with the Enrollment number.
    2. The Candidate are required to report and join the respective School/college with the Admission Slip, the Provisional Allotment Letter, the Academic Fee Receipt and the necessary record for verification of documents at the School / institution/college and pay the balance amount of fees (if any), as per schedule notified on the website, failing which the admission shall be automatically cancelled.

 

  • Spot Counselling:
    1. The spot counseling shall be conducted online after completion of the admission process, only for the purpose of filling up vacant seats, if any.
    2. All eligible candidates desirous of participating in the ―Spot Counselling shall have to pay a counselling (separate) participation fee. The participation fees in the Spot Counselling shall be INR 2000/- (non-refundable / transferable).
    3. The Spot Counselling shall be done for vacancies remaining after reporting of allocated candidates to Schools of Studies / Colleges / institutions allotted and arising during the process of ―Spot Counselling‖ as enumerated below. Since, all conversions of categories / region-wise divisions are completed in the last round of online counselling, the spot counselling shall consider all seats to be filled as unreserved.
    4. The vacant seats left after reporting /admission of candidates to institutions only shall be considered for filling in the spot counselling.
    5. Any CET qualified candidates who have not taken admission in the rounds of Online counselling will be eligible to participate in the spot counselling, against the available vacant seat (if any).
  • Filling of seats (if any) after Spot Counselling:
    1. If any seats are left vacant (out of the seats reported as vacant, after the reporting of admitted / allocated‖ candidates to concerned University School of Study / College / Institution and taken to the spot counselling phase for filling up) out of the seats considered in the spot counselling, the procedure for filling up these seats shall be notified by the University on its website http://www.ipu.ac.in .

After the Admission Procedure for all the courses is completed via IPU CET Counselling Procedure 2021 the classes for the new session of the First year for each course will begin at the respective Institutes as per their schedule.
