AP EAPCET 2021:  The AP EAPCET or Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test 2021 will be conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, Kakinada on the behalf of APSCHE or Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admissions into the following courses after passing Intermediate or its equivalent:

  1. Engineering, Bio-Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B. Tech (Agrl. Engg.) B.Tech (Food Science and Technology).
  2. B.Sc (Ag) / B.Sc. (Hort) / B.V.Sc. & A.H / B.F.Sc.
  3. B. Pharmacy, Pharma. D

The Examination is conducted for admissions into the above courses offered at various Universities and Institutes located in the State of Andhra Pradesh that take admissions on the basis of the Rank obtained by candidates in the AP EAPCET.

The AP EAPCET 2021 will be conducted during August 19 to August 25, 2021 and its application form is now available from 26th June on the AP EAPCET official website: https://sche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET/EapcetHomepages

In AP EAMCET 2021 there will be two papers of 3 hours duration each for Engineering (E) stream and Agriculture (A) stream respectively, a candidate can choose to appear for either of them or both of them depending upon the courses that he/she is interested for.

The Entrance Test will be conducted in the English and Telugu Medium at various centres and it will also be conducted in Urdu language at the Kurnool centre only.

AP EAMCET Application Form 2021: The AP EAMCET Application Form 2021 will be available tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2021 and will be available tentatively till the last week of March, 2021.

The Application Form will be available only online on the AP EAMCET Official website: https://sche.ap.gov.in/eamcet/.

The Application Fee for the AP EAMCET will be as follows:

INR 500 for either E or A Stream Exam.

INR 1000 for both E and A stream Exam.

*Please Note: There are extended dates in which the form can be filled by paying late fees of INR 500, 1000 and 5000 respectively.

There are 4 Steps in filling the AP EAMCET 2021 online application:

Step-1: Fee Payment: Candidate can make Online Fee Payment through this option.

Step-2: Know your Payment status: Candidate can check Success/Failure status of Fee Payment

Step-3: Fill Application: After fee payment either by cash at AP Online Center or by money transfer by Debit/Credit/Net Banking modes, candidate should fill in the Application through this option.

Step-4: Print Application Form: After application form submission, candidate can print the submitted form.

 

  • Step 1: Select/Click on Fee Payment Tab.After clicking on Fee Payment Tab, a fee payment webpage will be displayed. Fill in ALL the mandatory details given in the above web page. The details are Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No., Candidate’s Name (will be populated automatically by the system on entering Hall Ticket Number), Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Alternate Mobile No, E-Mail ID, Stream, Fee Amount (will be populated automatically based on the stream selected by the candidate). Fee Amount for Engineering Stream (E): Fee Amount’s 500 Fee Amount for Agriculture & Medical Stream (AM): Fee Amount: Rs 500 Fee Both (Engineering & Agriculture & Medical) (E &AM): Fee Amount: Rs1000
  • After filling the mandatory details click on Initiate Payment button, the control will lead you to the BANK PAYMENT GATEWAY.
  • PAYMENT BY NETBANKING / CREDIT / DEBIT CARD MODE: Registration fee can be paid through Net Banking or Credit Card or Debit Card provided his / her Card. Select the appropriate radio button for payment of registration fee.
  • After the relevant Card Type is selected by the candidate, click on the button “Pay now” and the control will automatically take you to the BANK PAYMENT GATEWAY screen. (NOTE: During the Payment process, DO NOT double clicks on buttons or click on Back / Refresh buttons or DONOT close the Browser web page abruptly, instead maintains patience as prompted on the screen). If you Click on Credit Card button, fill in all the credit card details and click on Make Payment button.
  • The confirmation of successful payment of Registration Fee is shown with the “Transaction is successful” item in the webpage. Payment Status along with “Payment Id”. (Note: Preserve both the ID’s for future correspondence).Click on the encircled button “Proceed to Fill Application” and you will be taken to the next screen. Note: Preserve “Payment Reference ID” (after payment) for future correspondence.
  • Candidate has two options either to proceed to fill in the application immediately or at a later date [** Refer to last dates]. Click on “Proceed to Fill Application” to fill the application immediately and you will be taken to the Application screen. If you choose another day to fill the application, simply close the window. In a rare case, if the amount is deducted from your account and message of “Transaction is successful” or the payment reference ID is not displayed, wait for few hours and check your payment status.The amount deducted from your account made in the first attempt will be refunded or rolled back into your account.
  • PAYMENT BY CASH AT APONLINE/TSONLINE CENTERS: Alternatively, candidate can pay the registration fee by cash at any one of the APONLINE/TSONLINE centers. A list of APONLINE / TSONLINE centers is provided in the HOME page under the head PAYMENT CENTERS
  • Choose your nearest AP Online centre.
  • Visit any of the above centers with the following mandatory details like:

a. Hall Ticket number of the Qualifying Examination

b. Name of the Candidate (as per SSC) c. Father’s Name (as per SSC)

d. Date of Birth.(as per SSC)

e. Mobile number and alternate mobile number

f. Stream applying for Engineering (E) or Agriculture and allied (A) or both E &A

  • Pay the prescribed amount in cash and collect receipt for the Registration fee paid from the APONLINE / TSONLINE center containing a Payment Reference ID (Transaction Id).
  • Step 2: The candidate can also check the status of payment made through this option. Click on Know Your Payment Status tab for checking the status of the payment as shown in the below screen. After clicking on Know Your Payment Status Tab. Furnish the same hall ticket number, mobile number, Date of Birth as given in step 1 and click on Check Payment Status button.
  • Step 3: The candidate can start filling the application by selecting the tab “Fill Application (only after fee payment)” Fill in the details of payment reference ID, Qualifying examination Hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth and click on Proceed to fill application. In the application form, the fields marked with ‘*’ symbol are MANDATORY which cannot be left blank without providing information. The details provided during the Registration Fee payment are frozen and cannot be edited.
  • Clicking on Submit button, candidate can view the Filled in Online application form .
  • Modify: Click on Modify button to modify the application.
  • Confirm: Click on Confirm button to modify the application.
  • Clicking on the Submit button, the candidate can view a pop-up alert as “Your application is submitted successfully. Please note your Application Number for further reference”. Candidates can take print applications by clicking on the Print Application button which is useful for further correspondence.
  • Clicking on Print Application, the candidate can view the Receipt of the Application form as shown on the screen below.
  • Step 4: Print Application Form The candidate can print the submitted application through this option. After clicking on the Print Application Form link from the Application tab of the AP EAMCET 2021 Home page, the Print Application Form for AP EAMCET 2021 page will be displayed then enter all the mandatory details and click on Get Application Details as shown on the screen below. After entering all the mandatory details and clicking on getting Application Details, the print copy of the AP EAMCET 2021 will be displayed for printing as shown on the screen

Before filling the AP EAMCET Application Form 2021 the candidates must go through the Instruction booklet to read important details like eligibility criteria, reservation, seat matrix, exam pattern and other important details.

AP EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2021: The AP EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

The AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2021 in detail are as follows: 

Nationality:

Candidates should be an Indian/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

Domicile:

  • Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
  • The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana Educational Institutions order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

Local and Non-Local Candidate:

Local Candidate:

  1. A Candidate shall be regarded as a local Candidate in relation to a local area (AU/OU/SVU).
  • If he/she has studied in an Educational Institution in such local area for a period of not less than four consecutive academic years in which he/she appeared or first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination as the case may be.
  • Where, during the whole or any part of the four consecutive academic years in which he/she appeared, or first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in any educational institutions, if he/she resided in that local area for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination in which he/she appeared, or first appeared.

 

Non-Local Candidate:

  1. A candidate who is not regarded as local candidate under clause (1.1) above in relation to any local area shall:

If he/she studied in the educational institutions in the state for a period of not less than seven consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination as the case may be, be regarded as a local candidate in relation to

  • Such local area where he/she studied for the maximum period out of period of seven years.

  • Where the period of his/her study in two or more local areas is equal, such local area where he/she studied last in such equal periods.

If during the whole or any part of the seven consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in the educational institutions, in any local area, but has resided in the state during the whole of the said period of seven years, be regarded as a local candidate in relation to

  • Such local area where he/she has resided for the maximum period out of the said period of seven years.

OR

  • Where the period of his/her residence in two or more local areas is equal such local area where he/she had resided last in such periods.

Local Area Explanation:

Local area in respect of Andhra University (A.U. area) includes Acharya Nagarjuna University area, in respect of Sri Venkateswara University (S.V.U. area), it includes Sri Krishnadevaraya University area, in respect of Osmania University (O.U. area), it includes Kakatiya University area.

The Candidate belonging to PIO / OCI category will be considered as under non local category only.

Candidates coming under any of the categories given below and not satisfying the conditions mentioned in 1 or 2 above are treated as ‘Non-Local’ to all the three University areas specified above.

  • Candidates who have resided in the state of Telangana / A.P. for a total period of 10 years or more excluding the period of study outside this state.

OR

  • Candidates either of whose parents has resided in this state for a total period of 10 years or more excluding the periods of employment outside the state

OR

AP EAPCET Admit Card 2021:  The AP EAPCET Admit Card 2021 or AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download in the 4th week of April or 1st week of May, 2021 on the official website of AP EAPCET: www.sche.ap.gov.in .

Download the AP EAPCET Admit Card 2021 by following below mentioned steps:

  • Go to the official website i.e., www.sche.ap.gov.in .
  • Click the AP EAPCET Exam.
  • Click on the Download Hall ticket.
  • Enter Registration Number, Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No and Date of Birth.
  • Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.
  • Download and Print the AP EAPCET Admit Card 2021.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions.

Important Instruction:

  • Hall Ticket along with Filled in Online Application Form with duly affixed recent colour photograph attested by Gazetted Officer (or) Principal of the College where candidate has studied the qualifying examination. However, Signature of the candidate and Left-Hand Thumb impression in the presence of Invigilator to be captured in the respective places provided in the Filled in Online Application form.
  • Hall ticket issued to the candidate is an important document. Candidates are required to preserve it carefully.
  • Hall ticket is not transferable. Any tampering of Hall Ticket will automatically lead to the disqualification of the candidate
  • Candidate shall arrive at the online examination centre 2 hours before commencement of the examination. This will enable the candidate to familiarize himself/herself with the online examination process.
  • Candidate is not allowed even late by One Minute from the commencement of the online examination.
  • The candidate does not have option of choosing specific date / session to appear for the AP EAMCET 2021 entrance examination. This information is known to him / her only after downloading Hall Ticket. For any reason if the candidate fails to appear in the given slot, he / she is treated as absent.

Evaluation:

Every care will be taken to avoid errors in the evaluation, checking, scrutiny, tabulation, normalization and ranking.

Ranking:

  • Candidates shall be ranked based on the EAMCET normalized marks (75% weightage) and 10+2 (25% weightage) in the order of merit.
  • Rank obtained in AP EAMCET-2021 is valid for admission to the courses mentioned in the application form for the academic year 2021-2022 only.
  • Rank obtained with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks at AP EAMCET-2021 by any candidate claiming as SC/ST Category will be cancelled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission to any course of study in any participating University /Institution.

Criteria for Ranking (AM Category):

For the preparation of merit list, in case of more than one student securing the same combined score obtained as mentioned above, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative ranking by successively considering the following

  • The total marks secured in AP EAPCET-2021
  • The marks secured in Biology in AP EAPCET-2021
  • The marks secured in Physics in AP EAPCET-2021
  • The percentage of aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination
  • If the tie still persists the date of birth of the concerned candidates, the older being given preference over the younger.

The weightage of marks in the case of candidates belonging to the category of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders, will be decided by a committee constituted by the competent authority.

Criteria for Ranking (E Category):

For the preparation of merit list, in case of more than one student securing the same combined score obtained as mentioned above, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative ranking by successively considering the following

  • The total marks secured in AP EAPCET-2021
  • The marks secured in Mathematics in AP EAPCET-2021
  • The marks secured in Physics in AP EAPCET-2021
  • The percentage of aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination
  • If the tie still persists the date of birth of the concerned candidates, the older being given preference over the younger.

The weightage of marks in the case of candidates belonging to the category of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders, will be decided by a committee constituted by the competent authority.

Qualifying Marks:

  • The qualifying percentage of marks for the AP EAPCET-2020 is 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking.
  • For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories.

Normalization Process:

The main aim of the normalization is to justify the candidates who got a difficult paper compared to an easier paper. Hence, the task is to rationalize in a best possible sense and rank the candidates based on the global performance.

Weightage for assigning merit ranks:

75% of EAPCET normalized marks and 25% of Intermediate Marks in group subjects to prepare the rank.

Example:

  • For Candidates having qualifying marks in AP EAPCET-2021, if after normalization, the marks in any individual subject become negative, then the normalized mark in the respective subject are treated as zero. However, total marks in three subjects are considered as EAPCET marks.
  • For the candidates for whom there is no qualifying cut off in AP EAPCET - 2021, if the marks in all the three subjects after normalization goes below zero (negative), the total marks are treated as zero and the rank is assigned based on 25% of Intermediate marks weightage. If the tie persists, then AP EAPCET – 2021 normalization marks (though negative) are considered for breaking the tie.

Admission Counselling

AP EAPCET Counselling Procedure 2021:

The AP EAPCET Counselling Procedure 2021 will be conducted online via Web-Based Counselling on the AP EAMCET official Website: www.apeamcet.nic.in .

The AP EAPCET 2021 Web-Based Counselling will be done in the following stages:

1.  ISSUE OF NOTIFICATION:

The Department of Technical Education will issue a notification in leading newspapers indicating the Dates and Ranks of the candidates to be attended for Registration, Verification of Certificates and Schedule for Exercising options and also notify the list of Help-line Centers.

2.  CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION:

Candidates whose certificates are verified online and eligible can exercise options as per the schedule given in the notification. Candidates whose certificates are not verified online and not eligible should go to the nearest Help-line centre for certificate verification.
Candidates should produce the following certificates when attending certificate verification at Help Line Center,

  -   EAPCET Hall Ticket
  -   EAPCET Rank Card
  -   SSC or Equivalent marks memo
  -   Intermediate or Equivalent marks memo
  -   Study / Bonafide Certificate from VI to Intermediate (10+2)
  -   Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)
  -   Income Certificate issued by MRO on or after 01.01.2016 (or) White Ration card
       (in case the candidate   -   desires to claim fee exemption).
  -   PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)
  -  Economically Weaker Section(EWS) Certificate (if applicable)
  -   Local status certificate (If Applicable, i.e., a candidate who migrates to any part of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the State of Telangana from 02-June-2014 to on/before 01-June-2021)
  -   Transfer Certificate.
  -   Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centers after Verification.

3. EXERCISING OPTIONS:

After Certificate Verification, a Blank Option Form (specimen), List of Colleges, Courses and their Codes will be made available in https://apeamcet.nic.in . Based on the Course Codes and College Codes, candidates may list out colleges in order of preference, the courses which they intend to give options for. For the reference of the candidates, the last rank up to which candidates were admitted in different colleges/courses in the previous academic year would be made available on the web site. The candidate should first prepare a list of colleges/courses in the blank option form with a priority number before he/she attempts to enter the options on the web. Candidates can exercise any number of options. After finalizing the options, they are advised to take print out of the final option form for his/her record.

 

4. Modification of Options:

Candidate can change his/her options any number of times during the allotted time. After allotted time for option entry, If the Candidate is not satisfied with the Options exercised, he/she can modify the options on the dates notified by the authority and this is final opportunity for exercising options.

5.  FINAL ALLOTMENTS OF SEATS:

Based on the options exercised, seat allotment will be made as per merit rank and category (SC/ST/BC/EWS/PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and games quota etc) of the candidate. The final allotments will be placed on the Web on the scheduled date announced, the Candidates will have to down load the allotment order from the web site. The details of allotments will be also sent to the registered mobile number of the candidate.

6.  REPORTING:

Candidates with downloaded allotment order have to report through the Self-reporting system and report at the allotted college also. These two stages are mandatory and mere reporting through self-reporting or reporting at the College is alone not sufficient to retain a seat.
If the Candidate fails to report through self-reporting and reporting at the allotted college by the dates stipulated, the allotment stands canceled and candidate will have no claim for further allotment of seats.

After the AP EAPCET Counselling Procedure is completed and the admissions in all the courses of all the colleges are over then the classes for the first year of admissions will start in all the Institutes as per their respective schedule.
