AMU Entrance Exam Application Form 2021: The AMU Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 will be available tentatively from the 1st week of March, 2021 and will be available tentatively till the last week of April, 2021.

The Application Form 2021 will be available online on the AMU Entrance Exam Official Website: https://www.amucontrollerexams.com/ .

The Application Form fee for the AMU Entrance Exam 2021 will be as follows:

INR 500 without Late Fee (INR 700 for B. Tech and INR 800 for B. Arch)

INR 800 with Late Fee (INR 1000 for B. Tech and INR 1100 for B. Arch)

The AMU Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 can be filled online by following these steps:

  • Registering as a new user:
  1. The candidate should register online and provide his / her correct and functional email because the username and password etc. will be sent on this email.
  2. Please note every candidate will register separately and will get his/her username and password to access his/her Dashboard for filling as well as tracking the form(s).
  3. Only Single Registration is sufficient for applying to the multiple courses by a candidate.
  • Signing in to a registered account:
  1. The candidate shall login using his/her username and password. Dashboard of the candidate will be available to him/her for filling the form.
  2. In case the candidate has lost/forgot his/her password, Forgot Password link should be used to get the same on the registered email.
  • Updating Profile of the Candidate:
  1. The candidate should fill his/her Profile carefully. Fields marked with asterisk are mandatory.
  2. After saving the Profile, the candidate will be asked to review and confirm that the particulars entered are correct.
  3. Candidate will not be able to Edit/Update his/her Profile after confirmation.
  4. If a candidate finds any mistake in his/her Profile after confirmation, then he/she will have to re-register with different Username and Password to complete all the entries afresh.
  • Educational Qualification of the candidate:
  1. Candidate should fill details of his/her educational qualifications by providing the name of all examinations passed, including qualifying examination, year of passing, Examination Roll No., University/Board from where passed, and the percentage/CGPA obtained.
  2. If the result of examination (including qualifying examination) is awaited, fill in all the columns except marks column and write "RA" in Results column
  • Uploading Photo, Signature & Thumb Impression of the candidate:
  1. Candidate should have scanned copy of his/her latest front facing good quality colored Photo with white background, signature & Thumb Impression (Left Thumb Impression only) in JPG/JPEG format ONLY for uploading on the website.
  2. Candidate should not upload the photo, signature or thumb impression of any other person as any mismatch may result in cancellation of his/her Application/Admission at any stage, even if he/she qualified for admission. (Note: Signature establishes the identity of the candidate. Hence, the candidate should not merely write his/her name in capital letters. This may lead to rejection of his/her application.)
  3. Please note that file extension names such as filename.BMP, filename.PNG, or filename.TIFF are not acceptable. Candidates are advised not to rename files with BMP/PNG/TIFF/etc. to JPG/JPEG. If file is not in JPG or JPEG format convert them to JPG/JPEG format using appropriate software (e.g., Paint) instead of just renaming the file extension.
  4. The size of each image must be between 20 KB and 200 KB.
  5. Candidate will ensure to keep 10 copies of the uploaded photo with him/her as the same will be needed at the time of admission, if the candidate is selected.
  • Special categories claimed by the candidate:
  1. Eligible candidate may select any applicable special category if he/she wishes to be considered for admission/nomination under that category.
  2. The candidate should follow the step-wise instruction as they appear in the selection of categories up to a maximum of 3 categories per Application Form.
  3. Candidate will have no right to be considered for admission/nomination under a special category if the same is not claimed in the Application Form.
  4. It is mandatory to select "NO" if the candidate does not belong to any Special Category.
  5. It is to be noted that all such candidates will be required to produce necessary documentary proof in support of special categories claimed, if offered admission.
  • Documents to be uploaded by the candidate:
  1. Scanned copy of date of birth certificate/High School Certificate of the candidate.
  2. Scanned copy of Marks-sheet / grade-sheet of qualifying examination. (If the Marks-sheet / grade-sheet of qualifying examination is not available, the Marks-sheet / grade-sheet passed in the preceding year should be uploaded)
  3. Scanned copy of documents in support of claim under special category, if any.
  4. Scanned copy of valid GATE Score Card (applicable only for candidates applying for admission to MTech. courses in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology).
  5. Scanned copy of documents in support of Professional Experience, if any (applicable only for candidates applying for admission to B.E course in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology).
  6. Scanned copy of No Objection Certificate from the employer, if employed at present. Note: It is to be ensured that all documents should be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format only and their individual size should lie between 200KB to 2MB.
  • Applying for a course/class and making payment:
  1. This step has two components- Application & Payment:
    1. Filling specific Application details for respective course and
    2. Payment of Test fee/Processing charges online. It is to be noted that both components of this Step must be completed in one go otherwise the application will stand incomplete and applicants will have to re-apply this Step.
  2. Candidate must ensure that he/she is eligible to apply for the Course of study for which application is being submitted as the Test Fee/Processing charges are non-refundable.
  3. Test fee/Processing fee is to be paid ONLINE only. The candidate should keep ready his/her Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card details and follow the instructions available on the website to make payment. It is to be ensured that correct amount of processing charges is displayed on the generated PDF. If not, then follow Refresh Payment by visiting the Dashboard/Home menu and generate the PDF again with correct amount.
  4. No corrections are allowed after submission of online forms. In case corrections is necessary such candidates may create new user login and fill the form again and pay the processing charges as usual.
  • Procedure for submission of application form:
  1. The Application Form is submitted electronically the moment the candidate makes the payment of the processing charges and payment is successful.
  2. The candidate may take the Printout of the Application Form on A-4 Size paper and keep it for his/her future reference. There is no need to send the hard copy of the Application Form.

AMU Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021: The AMU Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

AMU Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021:  The AMU Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021 or AMU Entrance Exam Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download tentatively in the 1st or 2nd week of April, 2021 on the official website of AMU Entrance Exam: www.amucontrollerexams.com .

Download the AMU Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021 by following below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above-mentioned official website.
  • Click on the Admit Card Link.
  • Then, select a course and enter the Application Number.
  • Click on the Download the Admit Card.
  • Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.
  • Download and Print the AMU Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions.

AMU declared the result in three forms i.e., Special Category List, Chance Memo List and Select List.

Chance Memo List:

  • The University may issue or display Chance Memo List in addition to the list of selected candidates. Chance Memo is not an offer of admission but is issued only in case there is likelihood of a vacancy due to any reason.
  • Any seat that remains unfilled after the completion of admissions of candidates on the Select list shall be filled up by the candidate who had reported with reference to his/her Chance Memo on the specified date and time as per the Chance Memo list, if any, strictly in order of Chance Memo Number.

Special Category List:

  • This list consists of details like Roll number, Category and Date of Reporting for Counselling for all the candidates.

Selection List:

  • AMU will issue the provisionally selected list of candidates to the respective course.

Admission Counselling

AMU Entrance Exam Counselling Procedure 2021:  The AMU Entrance Exam Counselling Procedure 2021 or the AMU Entrance Exam Admission Counselling 2021 will start after the declaration of the AMU Result 2021.

 

The AMU Admission Counselling will be done online on the official website of AMU: www.amu.ac.in . The Counselling will be done for various courses based on the merit of the different admissions criteria set before including other entrance exams, 12th merit, Departmental Tests etc. Here we are talking about the Admission Counselling for undergraduate courses for which admission will be based upon the AMU Entrance Exam 2021 Rank.

 

The AMU Admission Counselling 2021 will only be done for the candidates whose name appears in the selection lists of the various courses.

 

The AMU Counselling Procedure 2021 will be done as follows:

  • The AMU Counselling Procedure will be done online on the AMU official website: www.amu.ac.in.
  • The Counselling will be done in multiple rounds.
  • Only candidates whose name appears in the selection list of the courses will be eligible for participating in the AMU Entrance Exam Counselling Procedure.
  • To Participate in the counselling candidates will first have to Register Online for the AMU Counselling 2021.
  • Choice Filling:  Based upon the exam given and the Rank obtained in the AMU Entrance Exam 2021 the candidates will fill their choices as per the courses in which their name appears in the selection lists.
  • Seat Allotment:  The seats will be allotted to candidates based upon their Merit and Rank in the AMU Entrance Exam 2021 and as per the choices filled by the candidates.
  • Reporting and Admissions:  The Candidates who are allotted seats as per their choices filled in the different Rounds of Counselling and as per their Rank in AMU Entrance Exam 2021 will have to report to the Institute within the specified time and have to complete the required formalities for admissions and deposit the Fee.
  • End of Counselling:  Once all the Rounds of Counselling are over and the allotted candidates have completed the admissions procedure at the respective Faculty and Institute of the Aligarh Muslim University or AMU, the Online Counselling Procedure will come to an end.

 

After the AMU Counselling Procedure 2021 comes to an end and the admissions in all the respective Institutes and Faculties are over then the classes will begin at the respective Institutes and Departments as per their schedule
