All India Entrance Exam for Design

AIEED 2021:  The AIEED 2021 or All India Entrance Exam for Design will be conducted by the Arch College of Design and Business, Jaipur for admissions into its various undergraduate programmes in Design, Management and Visual Arts.

The AIEED 2021 will be conducted on 6^th and 9^th January, 2021 and the application for the same is available online from 21^st November till 31^st December, 2020.

The AIEED 2021 will consist of two exams: CAT or Creative Ability Test and GAT or General Ability Test or 2 hours and 3 hours duration respectively.

Important points to note about these tests are:

• Candidate need to choose a suitable time and date for appearing for GAT and CAT.
• There should be a 3 days gap between General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Creative Aptitude Test (CAT).   
• Student can appear for AIEED from place of their choice (Home or Cyber Cafe)
• Date of GAT or CAT once selected cannot be changed without valid reason.
• Student needs to appear for the Personal Interaction on the given date and time.
• To take admission in B.B.A (Bachelor of Business Administration), candidate only need to appear in General Aptitude Test (GAT).

AIEED 2021 Key Points:

AIEED Application Form 2021: The AIEED Application Form is available online from 21^st November, 2020 and will end on 31^st December, 2020 on the AIEED Official website: https://www.aieed.com/.

Applying for AIEED:

Keep a soft copy of a colour photograph along with 10th & 12th Mark sheet ready while applying. Students need to upload the above-mentioned photographs and documents in the application form. Candidates appearing for class 12th examination can also apply and submit mark sheets later. Visit www.archedu.org  or www.aieed.com  and register by filling the AIEED application form. On successful completion of application and payment of Application fee an automated EMAIL and SMS confirmation will be sent on registered contact number and email address.

• Choose a suitable time and date for appearing for GAT and CAT.
• Please note a maximum of 3 days’ gap is available between GAT & CAT
• Students can choose between online and offline mode of examination for CAT.
• Student can appear for AIEED from place of their choice (Home or Cyber Cafe)
• Date of GAT or CAT once selected cannot be changed without valid reason.
• Mode of Examination for CAT once chosen cannot be changed without a valid reason and approval by ARCH Management.
• Student needs to appear for personal interaction on the given date and time.

AIEED Eligibility Criteria 2021: The AIEED Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

• Candidate need make a VIDEO of YOURSELF while answering the given questionnaire.
• Use a cellphone camera, or any other camera available, to take a video.
• Candidate can speak in English or Hindi.
• Upload images of your Portfolio + the Video of Yourself to Google Drive and sent to [email protected]

Stage IV- Personal Interaction

• Personal Interaction will be done after receiving the Video & Portfolio.
• Student can appear for same either Online (Skype) or at ARCH Campus.

AIEED Participating Colleges 2021: The AIEED Participating Colleges 2021 or AIEED Participating Institutes 2021 includes only one college.

The AIEED Participating Colleges 2021 or AIEED Participating Institute 2021 are as follows:

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

AIEED Admit Card 2021:  The AIEED Admit Card 2021 or AIEED Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download in the 3^rd or 4^th week of December, 2021 on the official website of AIEED: www.aieed.com .

Download the AIEED Admit Card 2021 by following below mentioned steps:

• Go to the official website i.e., www.aieed.com .
• Click on the Download AIEED Admit Card.
• Enter the Email or Control Number and Date of Birth.
• Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.
• Download and Print the AIEED Admit Card 2021.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions.

AIEED Result 2021: The AIEED Result 2021 will be published online on the AIEED website: www.aieed.com .

Check the AIEED Result 2021 by following the below mentioned steps:

• Visit the above-mentioned official website.
• Click on login
• Enter the Control Number and Password.
• Result will be displayed on the screen.
• Download and Print the AIEED Result 2021 for further references.

Selection Criteria:

 The selection of candidates is strictly merit based. The cumulative performance in all parameters mentioned below will be considered for the final selection of candidates:

• Performance in past education & verification of documents
• AIEED exam result (combining all stages of examination)
• Performance in Personal Interview

AIEED Scholarship Aptitude Test (AIEED-SAT):

AIEED-SAT is a scholarship test conducted once every year in the month of December for awarding scholarship to deserving students on the basis of following:

• AIEED Performance
• Performance in 12th/ equivalent examination for UG.

Scholarships are also awarded in following special cases for students of:

• Defence Personnel.
• For artisans’ Children.
• For Single Mother-Child and Children of weaker sections of society
• Scholarship can be availed on first-come-first-served basis. A student failing to secure scholarship within the stipulated time will lose the scholarship and it will be awarded to next student in the waiting list.

AIEED Counselling Procedure 2021:  The AIEED Counselling Procedure 2021 or the Admission Guidelines are as follows:

Admission guidelines:

• After successful completion of AIEED a student who qualifies, has to deposit admission fee as prescribed in the selection letter within stipulated time in order to secure admission.
• The final admission of the candidate will be considered only if he/ she fulfils all the requirements mentioned, as well as the eligibility criteria. Defaulting in producing the relevant documents at the time of admission can result in cancellation of admission.
• All admission secured before the 12th result will be provisional subject to submitting the passing certificate before the start of the class.
• Documents required are 4 Colour Photographs 10th and 12th Mark sheet, 10th and 12th passing certificate School Leaving and Character Certificate Migration Certificate Graduation Mark sheet and Passing certificate for Post Graduate Courses. - SC/ST, Others (Physically Challenged, NRI, Defence, Artisans) Students securing admission before giving in results for 12th or Graduation have to submit a non-judicial stamp of Rs 50 stating that the admission is provisional subject to passing the qualifying exam(12th or Graduation). The format can be obtained from the Admission office at ARCH. Selected students would be required to submit a Letter of Recommendation from any of the following: Practitioner Doctor, Gazetted Officer, Chartered Accountant / Company Secretary, Professor, Designer with a firm, design-related industries.

After the Admissions are completed through the AIEED the classes for all the courses will start in the Arch School of Design and Business, Jaipur as per its schedule.
